This Heywood-Wakefield coffee table was structurally solid, but the finish had degraded past the point where touch-up work could produce a consistent result.
To restore the original look correctly, the piece needed a complete strip and refinish with careful color-building to match the classic Heywood-Wakefield warm honey tone.
