Every piece has a past.
Our work gives it a future.

G. Michael's is a Fort Collins furniture restoration shop trusted with family heirlooms, estate finds and well-used pieces that deserve another chapter.

We repair structure, preserve character and rebuild finishes with a practical respect for the original piece—never more intervention than the work requires.

Two Colorado workshops.
One standard of care.

Bring your piece to Fort Collins or Denver. Both staffed workshops provide the full G. Michael's restoration service.

Before your piece comes into the shop.

How do I request an estimate?

Email clear photos of the entire piece, close-ups of the damage and approximate dimensions. In-home estimates can also be scheduled by phone.

Can you repair furniture without refinishing it?

Yes. Structural repairs, veneer work and missing-part replacement can often be completed without a full refinish. We recommend only the work the piece needs.

How long does refinishing take?

Typical refinishing work takes two to four weeks once the project begins. Complexity, curing time and current shop scheduling can affect the timeline.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Yes. Pickup and delivery are available throughout Northern Colorado and the Denver metro area. Pricing depends on distance, access and the number of people required.
